Who we are

vertaalkabaal! is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. You can contact us at teamcs@vertaalkabaal.nl or at Hoogoorddreef 9, 1101 BA Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Contacting us

Our contact buttons open your email application. If you email us, we use your contact details and message to respond to your inquiry and discuss the requested services. Please do not send identifiable patient information or confidential project documents in an initial inquiry. We can discuss an appropriate way to exchange project materials.

Google Analytics

This website automatically loads Google Analytics 4 using the existing measurement ID G-5ZHBSZR42P. It measures page views on the homepage and service pages, including navigation within the website. There is no cookie banner, consent dialog or stored consent choice.

Analytics can use the _ga and _ga_5ZHBSZR42P cookies, configured for up to 180 days. We send page titles and addresses without query strings or fragments and sanitize the referrer we provide. Advertising consent stays denied, and Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our configuration. We do not send inquiry text, contact details or medical information as Analytics events. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner websites.

Visitor notifications

Our team may receive one low-priority ntfy notice per browser session. It contains only a fixed message and the first eligible public page path, without queries or fragments. No IP address, session identifier, contact details, inquiry content or medical information is included in the notice. Browser sessions are not unique people.

A random session cookie, vtkb_visit_session, shares a session identifier across tabs. The sessionStorage flag vtkb-visitor-attempted-v1 suppresses repeated attempts on navigation or reload. Browser session restoration may preserve these values. Upstash Redis independently deduplicates the session using a secret-keyed digest, retained for up to 30 days. A keyed digest derived from the connection IP is used for anti-spam limits and expires within 24 hours. Raw IP addresses and browsing histories are not stored by this notification feature. Session records are not used for fingerprinting or advertising.

Redis enforces per-client and site-wide limits. Missing configuration, unavailable Redis, timeouts and delivery failures can cause a notice to be skipped; there is no unprotected fallback or automatic delivery retry. Blocked browser storage disables visit notifications. Old aggregate counters from the previous version are no longer updated and expire within their existing 30-day retention period.

Notifications use HTTPS with ntfy message caching disabled, so disconnected subscribers may miss them. Public ntfy.sh topics do not provide access control; someone who learns a topic can subscribe or publish. See ntfy privacy information and Upstash privacy information. Contact links only open email and never generate an inquiry notification.

Storage, hosting and choices

You can manage or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. The former analytics consent preference is removed locally and is no longer used to control tracking. There are no consent panels or preference dialogs on this website. Previously collected Google data remains subject to the existing property’s retention settings.

Vercel processes connection information necessary to deliver and protect this website. Provider security features, hosting logs, account retention settings and international processing arrangements are separate from the application’s controls described above. Contact us for details of the current arrangements or to object to processing.
